My Background
I come from a small village in the south of Italy, called Cassano Delle Murge, surrounded by natural
breathtaking landscape and delicious food. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a Master's
degree in Chemical Sciences, both obtained after studying in the University of Bari Aldo Moro. My
internship experiences have predominantly revolved around the synthesis of graphene-based
hybrid nanocomposites.
My Project
Combining chemistry and materials science, my project will be focused on the development and fabrication of photo- and electro-chemical flow cells. Furthermore, I will work on the deposition of functional materials in the form of films or foams. Different geometries and configurations will be thoroughly studied until the optimal design and performance of the device is obtained.
